Johnny Benson Seriously Injured Following Super Modified Crash

The defending Camping World Truck Series champion is in serious condition following a fiery incident Saturday night at Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan. Benson was awake and alert when pulled from the car.

This unfortunate incident comes after his truck series team announced they were forced to cease operations this past week.

The driver was starting his second lap when he collided with another car on Saturday night at Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan. His car slammed into the wall and erupted into flames.
