From July 3rd - 5th the resort will once again be transformed into the Mecca of BMW motorcycle fans where with its picturesque mountain backdrop, visitors can once again expect a packed program of entertainment this year.
During this time, BMW motorcyclists will meet for the ninth time to party in Bavarian style. Over 34,000 visitors found their way to the BMW Motorrad Days last year and numerous riders and friends of all motorcycle brands are once again expected this year.
While skiing may not leap to the motorcycle mind for a rally, BMW is hosting its latest event at one of Germany's finest ski resorts.
Thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts are riding to BMW Motorrad Days for three days of activities and two-wheeled entertainment at Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
One of the highlights is without doubt the Team BMW Motorrad Motorsport, which as of this year is entering the World Superbike Championship with the racing version of the S1000 RR. Motorcycling fans will be able to get up close to the team of Berthold Hauser, Head of BMW Motorrad Motorsport, including the two riders Troy Corser (Australia) and Ruben Xaus (Spain), with autograph and photo sessions. What is more, the serial production version of the S1000 RR will be presented to the general public for the very first time at the BMW Motorrad Days.
In the Freestyle Area, motorcycling acrobat Chris Pfeiffer will be demonstrating his skills with spectacular stunts. He never ceases to fascinate visitors with his fast trick combinations – a talent which won him the Indoor Streetbike Freestyle World Championship for the third time in succession.
